When I think about career choice a couple things come to mind. Job description, training required, salary, and future outlook are very important regarding my decisions. For years the internet has been influencing people without their realization. The internet has changed my views on what I want to pursue as a career with advertisements, articles, videos and more. I aspired to become a dentist but after reading an article regarding the various careers in business, I became more and more interested in a career that was totally different than I originally planned for, business marketing. The funny thing about the internet is that it has memorized what you are interested in, therefore advertisements regarding whatever you search for pop up and immediately you are "influenced". For me, business marketing became much more intriguing since it has so many branches within the field. Right away I thought of all the opportunities that could come my way if I pursued this career path. The internet give us information on jobs we didn't know were even possible and also gives you an idea of where your degree can lead you in the future.
In this day and age the internet has provided us with unlimited information on every little thing that can ever cross our minds and will always continue to be an outlet that is user friendly. Once out of school I am still able to look up and find opportunities beyond my degree and develop my career continuously. In our ever so growing and technological age, many companies and organizations rely on the internet as a source for growing their businesses through digital advertisements that directly affect and influence the human population. These advertisements and promotions are required to be attractive and unique so businesses can flourish and gain popularity amongst consumers and that is how the internet will impact my future career since the responsibility for those advertisements lie with business marketers as a part of their job .
